Swap now has two privacy modes. Both keep your payout away from the wallet that paid — they just take different roads to get there.

Fast

Fast sends your swap through NEAR Intents’ confidential layer. Your deposit is bridged into NEAR Intents, the trade runs on a private chain, and the output is paid to your recipient by the bridge — not by your wallet.

  • Usually done in a few minutes.
  • 0.40% fee, plus a small flat payout fee. Both are shown in the quote.
  • Quotes are signed by NEAR Intents and checked by Mask before you send anything.
  • Works for small amounts, though the flat payout fee matters more on tiny swaps.

Max privacy

Max privacy sends the swap through Mask’s privacy partner and two separate exchanges. Your deposit is swapped at a first exchange, moved to a second, unrelated one, and only then delivered — so the payout comes from an unrelated wallet, with no direct on-chain path back to your deposit.

  • Usually 15–45 minutes. The move between exchanges takes the longest.
  • Costs more. Mask’s fee and the route and exchange fees are built into the rate.
  • From about $30 per swap. The quote shows the exact minimum.
  • Private sends: pick the same token on both sides (e.g. SOL → SOL) to send it privately to another wallet.
  • The rate floats, so the final amount can differ slightly from the estimate.

Which one to use
