Stepby step.
Your first private swap, one screen at a time. Setting it up takes about a minute.
Before you start
- A Solana wallet holding the token you want to swap, plus a little SOL for the network fee. Paying manually? Any wallet works.
- A second, fresh wallet to receive the output.
- For Max privacy: at least about $30 worth, and 15–45 minutes.
Open Swap now
Open the app and stay on the Swap now tab. The other tab, Limit order, is for selling at a set price.
Choose how to pay
Connect wallet: Mask builds the transfer and your wallet asks you to approve it.
Pay manually: no wallet connection. Type a refund address, then send the deposit yourself from any wallet.
Mask remembers your choice.
Tokens and amount
Pick what you pay and what you get, then type the amount. The ↓↑ button flips the two. With a wallet connected, your balances show next to each token.
Where it goes
Paste a fresh wallet under Deliver to. It’s never filled in for you, and Mask warns you if it matches the wallet that pays.
Privacy mode
Choose Fast (minutes, 0.40%) or Max privacy (15–45 minutes, higher fee, from about $30).

Check the quote
The quote shows the rate, what you’ll get, the minimum after slippage, every fee and the timing.
Fast quotes refresh live and are verified by Mask. Max privacy shows an estimate; the final price is set when you confirm.
Send the deposit
With a wallet: press the swap button and approve the one transfer in your wallet.
Manually: copy the deposit address (or scan the QR) and send the exact amount before the timer runs out. Include the memo if one is shown.
Watch it land
The status page opens on its own and updates live. Bookmark it — it works after a reload and on any device. More on tracking.
If something’s off
- Quote expired. Nothing was sent — just request a new one.
- Amount too small. The swap screen tells you the minimum.
- Swap refunded. Your deposit goes back to your refund address (the wallet you paid from).
- Max privacy stuck or failed. Keep the swap ID from the status page and contact Mask support on X. Mask never holds the funds.
Never send to a deposit address after its timer has run out.
