Fees &safety.

What a swap costs, and who holds what along the way. Every fee is shown before you send anything.

01

Fast

  • Small flat payout fee, in the quote
  • Solana network fee, in SOL

On 1 SOL, the 0.40% is 0.004 SOL. Swaps between stablecoins (USDC, USDT, DAI) cost 0.21%, because NEAR Intents charges 0.01% on those. The payout fee is flat, so on very small swaps it’s a bigger share.

02

Limit orders

  • Taken from what you sell
  • Exact fee lines shown once the order is placed
03

Max privacy

  • All built into the rate you see
  • Solana network fee, in SOL

Max privacy costs more because two exchanges handle your swap. Swaps start from about $30.

Who holds what

YouYour keysYour wallet signs every deposit. Mask never asks for a seed phrase or private key.
MaskThe interfaceBuilds the request, shows every fee and tracks the swap. It never holds funds or keys.
RouteThe swapNEAR Intents runs Fast swaps and limit orders. Mask’s privacy partner and two exchanges run Max privacy.
05

Checks

  • Signed quotes. NEAR Intents signs every Fast quote, and Mask checks the signature before you can send.
  • Compliance screening. NEAR Intents and the Max privacy route both screen swaps. A flagged swap can be rejected or refunded.
  • Partner requirements. For Max privacy, Mask’s privacy partner receives your IP address, browser and timezone, as its rules require.
06

Refunds

  • If a swap can’t complete, your deposit goes back to your refund address — the wallet you paid from.
  • Too little sent, the price moved too far, or a compliance flag are the usual reasons.
  • A small refund fee may apply. It’s shown in the quote.

Privacy, not anonymity. On-chain activity may still be associated.
